c.Kostra is Ryan Olcott's solo thing. It's more or less smooth psychedelic karaoke 4-track R&B. Former frontman of 12 Rods, Mystery Palace and Foodteam, Ryan re-reemerges as a beat-y cassette noir crooning vocodist.



Musical mutt and multi-instrumentalist. My goal is to generally wreck the status quo with they way I rock, write melody, harmonize, hook and improvise. I use drums, guitars, battery powered electronics and Logic X. Sometimes I hit the streets...if you want to improvise together sometime in a public space, get at me!

I make electronic instrumentals! You may have heard some of them in the amazing videos produced by Summoning Salt. I hope you enjoy these songs!

ICS stands for Immersion Composition Society, and these tracks are the result of solo speed-songwriting sessions for ICS online events (unless a collaborator is listed). Each playlist represents the fruits of spending anywhere from a few hours to a couple dozen singularly focused on spontaneously writing and producing music quickly.
