Growing up surrounded by a musical family, there was no alternative for My Cherie, she knew music was always going to be her passion. Having spent her childhood in South Africa, the impact and inspiration of her homeland is woven throughout her music, forming the basis of her transforming live shows. Wanting to create a unique experience for audiences and create open and honest conversations with the audience, while also weaving her nativeAfrikaans at times.

Attonbitus is a music/poetry fusion project founded by Michael Brigante during his years studying music at Adelaide University. Band members Shivon Diana (bassist) and Alex Walendy (drummer) drive the stylisation of this group through groovy alternative bass melodies complemented with a clean-cut drum beat hinting undertones in prog and reggae. Influences in the bands stem from contemporary slam poetry and modern authors, such as Alan Ginsburg, Hunter S Thomson, Aldous Huxley and Gorge Orwell. This is also accompanied by musical influences such as Bob Dylan, Tool, The Vines, Nirvana, The Beatles, The Doors and other contemporary bands.

Our music is primarily created as some sort of wild release for whatever therapeutic ends, both when it's improvised, composed in practice, or on stage. The lyrical content of each song tends to focus on expressing some sort of inner dialogue struggling with some agitated sense self-reflection, calm dissolution and/or absurd observation.

Unhinged expression and aggressive speech are key themes in our live shows. Entertaining an audience is not only exhilarating, it gives us the opportunity to communicate and express this music with a strange act of ceremonious enjoyment while drawn through some tame clause, or strange violent hysteria; Really we just like the fun of it.
