'Dreams don’t lie, reality is wrong': The manifesto for Pablo Bozzi & Kendal's INFRAVISION project is one we can get behind. Drawing inspiration from science fiction, 'Anticipations' and the disturbing era we're all living in, the Toulouse-born producers have fashioned their own distinct style that's captivated audiences from the get-go.

Their debut LP 'Illegal Future' on Fleisch was an introduction to the duo's slick, sexy, synth-driven sound: a concoction of Italo Disco, EBM, New Beat and Trance influences, brought into the present day, which they term Italo Body Music. 

Before joining forces, both had made names for themselves in their own right through their dark, fierce productions and DJ sets: Pablo Bozzi through his residency on HÖR, work with EGONlab and release for Phase Fatale's BITE, and Kendal via his Ritmo Fatale label and his releases for David Vunk's Moustache Records and Dischi Autunno, the Correspondant offshoot that Pablo has also released on.

After an unforgettable high-energy Boiler Room debut recently, we're treated to another side of INFRAVISION's tastes with this slow burner of a mix fictionally recorded in the Terminator's Tech-Noir club, Los Angeles.

Barnt is a producer and a DJ who is hard to place – one minute he’s making avant garde, experimental sounds on his co founded label Magazine, the next he’s making peak time trance on Kompakt. Perhaps this is what makes him so exciting, you never quite know what you are going to get.

Earlier this year Kompakt announced the release of a superb EP which had already been heard doing the rounds in the clubs, a big room trance inspired club track which had been destroying dancefloors all over. Of course it was Barnt.

The release was his first new material for several years, the pandemic has offered Barnt the time to reflect on his own direction and from the sounds of it left him longing for the nostalgia and big room sounds he grew up on in the 90’s.

The EP comes off the back of recent releases on the likes of Mule Musiq, Comeme, Hinge Finger and Holgen. However, it made perfect sense that his latest should feature on none other than the German powerhouse that is Kompakt.

We were delighted when Barnt agreed to record this mix for us, as one of our own personal favourites we can’t help but think that he’s done a wicked job.

@cursesforever is known to mix his rock & roll roots with the darker side of disco, with influences from EBM, new wave, psychedelic synths and post-punk. On his show, he likes to invite guests who all pride themselves on their own unique interpretation of post-punk, 80s, electronic music, and encouraging them to explore their roots and get out of their club music comfort zone.

Based in Berlin, Skelesys is a versatile, ever-evolving and particularly cutting-edge artist. He’s a producer, DJ and live act with a strong musical background inspired by Hard Rock, Post-Punk, Synth Pop, science fiction and horror movies.
His sound could be defined as haunted and effective, the result of a delicate and neat mixture of marked basses and guitar riffs always accompanied by thriller melodies and subtle grooves surrounded by darkness with a stripped down futuristic vibe.
Skelesys produces and performs a mixture of post-punk, italo-dark wave and EBM with a touch of rock n roll.
He has released on a handful of well respected labels such as Eskimo Recordings, Ombra INTL, Oraculo Records and Snap Crackle & Pop to name a few.
He is primarily a live artist, incorporating his guitar with electronics and vocals on stage. Also DJing all things under the umbrella of 80s influenced dark club sound.
His music has been supported by artists like Curses, Jennifer Cardini, Perel, Kris Baha, Local Suicide, The Brvtalist, Justin Strauss, Reka to name a few.
His latest work is "Epsilon", a four track EP released both digital and physical via Oraculo Records.

Kim Anh has long graduated to Club Queen status in both her NYC home and adopted digs of Los Angeles. With a decade in the music game, the DJ, producer and singer-songwriter is at the forefront of the queer club scene in the city.

A deep rooted love of classic old school house, acid and disco is what motivates her musical ventures, be that behind the decks or in the studio. So far her productions have been housed on a slew of acclaimed labels including Deejay Gigolo Records, Robert Johnson Live, EMI and her own Can U Not Talk imprint: a space for her own recordings and collaborations.

When she's not producing or slaying it on vocals, you can find her holding down residencies and hosting events in NYC and LA at the likes of Booby Trap!, YOWSAH and underground party Tendencies.

Her latest musical outing After The Dark came out in January and she's now gearing up for the release of an accompanying remix EP. So before that drops we got her to serve up a slice of the diva-soaked house and acid sounds she's become synonymous with as part of our Ransom Note Mix series...

Anyone who knows Toni, guest of our next Feinstoff party at Mensch Meier, Berlin, knows how much she loves music. And lately, at the decks, you can hear and especially see her great passion for it. She cannot imagine a day without music. It is her daily companion and an elementary part of her life. Toni started djing in winter 2020 and discovered her very own sound - from Italo Disco, Dark to Nu Disco, Indie Dance to New/Synthwave. Within 1 1/2 years, Toni has already established a name for herself in the Viennese music scene. She played in the most famous Viennese clubs like Grelle Forelle, Pratersauna, Flex, Praterstraße, O-Klub etc.. Last year, she had her international debut in Barcelona and will be DJing amongst others in Berlin, Prague, and Paris in 2022. For Toni it doesn't matter if the tracks are from the 80s or recently released - she plays the sound she feels.

Massimiliano Pagliara's current-yet-classic style can best be described as an eclectic mix of house, disco, electro and techno.
