As a colleague rightly put it, Kraftwerk meets Prodigy in this version. 🤣

The first Kraftwerk song I heard in my life was "Pocket Calculator", on a TV show when I was about 10 years old. Of course, at that age, I had no idea how revolutionary this German band was. They created electronic music as we know it today.

In the 1970s, Kraftwerk built their own musical instruments, drum machines and vocoders; they edited the music rolls by cutting with ordinary scissors and gluing with ordinary glue; and they performed as if they were robots -- they even used mechanical dummies dressed as them in their performances. 

Some consider Kraftwerk to be the most influential band in history (and I agree).
