Music is a gateway through which I share my life story with the world. I was born in Bong County, Liberia. When the civil war started in my country in 2001, I was fortunate enough to be one of the very few survivals that made it out alive. With the help of the Most High Creator and My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I came to the United States in 2003 as a Liberian refugee. After my exposure to the Hip Hop culture, I joined a Rap Group in Atlanta, Ga. and begun recording and producing music. Even though I love the music we were making, it wasn't the sound and message I wanted to get across to my listeners. I left the group in 2007 and moved to Elizabeth City, North Carolina and started working on a new sound, MetaMuzk. I also got involved in the Church and feel in love with Gospel Music as well as the Word of God. Poetry came naturally to me. I also speaks Kpelle, my native language fluently and I have written several poetry pieces and songs in Kpelle. I have always love Reggae Music, even prior to me Coming to the United States, I was exposed to Reggae Musicians like Lucky Dube, Joseph Hill of Culture, Bob Marley, The Itals and many more. MetaMuzk blends all of these genres I have been exposed to. I look forward to traveling the world and sharing Metamuzk with others.
