Avi Shmailov has been dividing his life is for more than a decade already between constant studio work and non-stop touring around the globe. Astrix broke into global consciousness in 2002 with his debut album ‘Eye to Eye’, defining him as a trance music anthems producer. In 2004, he released his second album ‘Artcore’, igniting fire all over the global trance scene and is considered by many as the perfecttrance album. The album’s effect was followed in 2005 by the impressive entry to the world's top 100 DJs list of the famous Dj Magazine, where he took the respectful climb to the 18th position in 2007. His third album ‘Red Means Distortion’ was released in 2010 and since then he continues to release many tracks on various compilations and digital EP’s to delighted fans, who according to his Facebook page are over 900,000 and going on strong

(which was also their first song to ever be released) and what a decade it was. 
The boys have been touring for ever, hitting more then 30 countries around the world,
playing in front of millions, on stages moving from 500 to 500,000 people, reaching a "Gold Record Status" for their 3rd studio album "Come Together", 
Remixing superstar groups such as: Moby, The Police, Depeche Mode, Fatboy Slim and more, while collaborating with all the psytrance headliners for their more underground stuff, and the list just keeps on going.

Even with the boys extremely busy schedule the hard workers trio didn't stop for a sec,
surprising us again and again renewing themselves from album to album, from song to song

Keyboard player Shahaf Shvarzman ,a.k.a Power source produce trance music for more then 30 years.
Power source formed in Israel (1994) by Shahaf and trance music pioneers Nati Mishaly and 
Nati beat . On 1997 act became duo by Shahaf & Nati beat  and Since 2001 ,  a solo project by Shahaf.
Power source took big rule on early trance scene and performed many parties and festivals in Israel. 
Power source Classic Goa trance tracks from mid 90’s - Goaway,Gargamel (Matsuri) 
 Granada (Transient) and others were put on Vinyls and dozens CD compilations thru the 90’s and supported by many international DJ’s. 
Power source album Cosmic wave (Melodia 1999) kept Power source take on Goa trance with fast , powerful bass lines & memorable melodies. It  featured trance anthems Skywalker ,Vorlan, Memory Bubbles  and considered one of the most influential Israeli trance albums of that era.
Power source Goaway remix (Hommega, 2000) was the act’s last project before becoming a solo project.
Thru the 1990’s Shahaf worked also with trance music Innovators Har-el Prusky and Miko (a.k.a California Sunshine) including tracks on album Imperia and playing keyboards on live sets.
By the end of 1990’s and early 2000’s Power source produced / collaborated as well euro trance projects a.k.a The nomads (Vandit records) Desert moon (Sony) Telescreen (News BMG) etc .
On early 2000’s Shahaf made House music releases a.k.a Fuf (with Acid House godfather Marshall Jefferson on Whoop/kinky vinyl) , Wavelab ( Mute ,Ministry of sound ) + remix & production work for Israeli and International Artists (Rev run/Warren G /Nate Dog /Sting /David Broza /Moosh Ben Ari etc ).
On late 2000’s Shahaf began making  new Power source tracks (on Hommega & Bionics records).
Since 2009 Power source is on an endless tour thru Israeli beautiful nature parties ,most clubs and some great festivals (as well as selected European events) and featured among best local and international lineups .
Power source  play many pure Goa trance &  New Goa events with the original tracks recorded from Vinyls and Cd’s.
 Other sets and events feature more Full on trance approach with original tracks ,co-productions and remixes of Power source classics from artists alike Xerox , Ejekt ,Hudja boy ,Ayahuasca ,Bizarre Contact ,Mystical complex ,Ultravoice and many others. 
Sets can also  include the original 90’s Goa trance tracks on remastered versions.
sometimes all styles are mixed together with added keyboards and sounds .
