This is a rough demo of a song I wrote and performed but have never recorded. Needs some track replacements, mixing and there's no mastering (not even EQ on the vocal). Also not sure about the washing machine...

It is dedicated to Stephen Robert Parker, a friend who tragically passed away in his room due to complications with diabetes, January 2010. He was only 18, was a passionate aspiring film maker, very loving and a general dude. He is always missed.

In Stephen's funeral dedications I promised I would remember him through song. This was written shortly after the funeral in an evening, and is generally about how mortality puts negativity and cynicism to rest once and for all. 

It's about time I recorded it. Please be gentle I know it's a ballad and all that..

I tried recording improvised harmonies for probably the first time and am working on my vocal. The bass track also needs re-recording as the jack on it is shot; I've picked up a bass about once in years.
