Hohen Besuch aus dem Berliner Techno-Reservat erwartet Sandra Gold am 20. November bei ihrer Discotribe-Party im Palais. Benno Blome, seines Zeichens Chef von Sender Records, lässt mal wieder reduzierten, straighten Hauptstadt-Sound in München erklingen. Seine Plattentasche ist stets prall gefüllt, sei es mit eigenen Releases und Kooperationen mit Größen wie Tigerskin, Baby Ford oder A Guy Called Gerald oder mit dem neuesten Minimal-Stoff anderer Kollegen. Der frühere Resident-DJ der legendären Bar25 beweist beim Auflegen stets ein gutes Händchen, wenn es darum geht, die Tanzfläche vollends zu elektrisieren. 

Selbiges gelingt auch Gastgeberin Sandra Gold immer ganz wunderbar, wobei sie eher Deep House, Nu Disco, Tribal Beats und lang nicht mehr gehörte Klassiker als Zaubermittel einsetzt. Ebenfalls zum Stamm der Discotribe-Indianer zählen in dieser Nacht Steffen Lengler und Icke Lichtenberg. Steffen ist vielen vom DJ-Duo Salzer n‘ Lengler und von Gigs früheren Gigs im Palais, im Bullitt, im Tante Erna und im Pimpernel ein Begriff. Seine Sets wandeln für gewöhnlich auf den Pfaden zwischen Deep und Techhouse. Und Icke Lichtenberg ist, wie man am Vornamen schon erahnen kann, gebürtiger Berliner, der inzwischen in München heimisch geworden ist. Er ist in den 90er Jahren mit Vocal-, Garage- und Discohouse groß geworden, was sich durchaus auch in seinen Sets widerspiegelt. Wer auf Techno oder Minimal steht, ist bei ihm an der falschen Adresse. Bevorzugt man dagegen melodischen, treibenden House-Sound, kommt man voll auf seine Kosten.

Antennas up! The Sender station brings you an exclusive special broadcast covering the big label anniversary. On the occasion of the tenth birthday, contributions by various label-associated representatives of the electronic music-production community will follow here, appearing in black gold and a modern digital garment.
In the first part, brandnew productions are set to be hawked seperately. The second part succeeds in mixed shape and recapitulates the Sender era in a DJ-Set format. In the spotlight, we have acquaintances such as Misc., Baby Ford, Matt John, Pan/Tone, Someone Else and label holder and founder Benno Blome himself. Beyond that, fresh talents like Ronald Christoph and Shap introduce themselves to the audience and ambitious producers like Matt Star leave their incisive remix-signature. The whole stilistic bandwidth of the Sender program is to be performed for our audience once again, over and above we would like to put you in the mood for further decades of potent rhythm-broadcasts.
Since establishing the Sender station, tons of sweat ran down the walls of international Techno clubs. Not few numbers out of the Sender catalogue have been involved with this sportive society phenomenon. Artists like Misc. have reached some of their top levels with blood-pressure-raising Techno compounds on Sender. High calibres like T.Raumschmiere and Jake Fairley have set cesuras in stlye and dirt. British legends like A Guy Called Gerald and Baby Ford have built robust Techno-bridges to the continent. Despite the intricate maintenance of the sending, station conductor Benno Blome holds most of the program spots with 28 contributions, of which many were generated in joint ventures. Thus in this anniversary issue he can be heard with Tigerskin once again, who also had several appearances on Sender. Please put your remote control aside now and immerse in the following music program.

This year´s christmas we have almost no snow and still 16 degrees. At least in the city where I live. Let´s hope that the guy, sitting in the sky, will not forget about us. Would be nice.

The new release from one of our favourite homies, Ramiro Lopez, is strong, special and delicate, three different tracks with diverse feelings on them. 'My Cause', with Known Kontrol on the vocal duties, is an emotive acid track, a proper crossover between techno and pop. If you like real deep house, try Ejeca's remix. The vocal from Lily Und Wolf in 'My Missng Part' is exciting, sad and warm and the production of Ramiro is top. Closing the EP we find 'Aeon', hypnotic, powerful and driven techno only for insiders. Hamburg based producer Hatzler’s EP is crafted to keep the dancefloor moving, with two original tracks and two remixes. ‘SkyT’ unfolds with a rolling groove that ascends abruptly into a throbbing, trance-inducing piece peppered with cavernous synth pads. ‘KreaT’ lays down hard hitting thumps from the get-go, doling out an undulating synth with whirring atmospherics. It’s these whirs that end up combining harmoniously with the swirling synth hook, leading to a highly anticipated peak time release. For his ‘SkyT’ remix, Sian amps up the theatrics, giving the track a dramatic dimension by infusing it with spacious reverb. Where Sian went down a more theatrical avenue, Ruiz plays down the emotion.  Victor Ruiz’ take on ‘SkyT’ is a more stripped down approach, minimizing the elements and keeping the focus on the rolling bassline.
