Meet Leonard, a talented dj and producer based in Bucharest, Romania. He is a rising star in the electronic music scene, having honed his craft over the past years. I'm ecstatic to have him join the Groove Theory family.

LEONARD's passion for music began at a young age and has only grown stronger with time.
Not only is he a skilled DJ, but he also showcases his creativity and love for electronic sounds as a producer.
His dynamic sound is characterized by rolling basslines, percussive drums, and progressive synths, creating a seductive signature that sets him apart from others.
LEONARD's productions are known for their energetic and hypnotic quality that always leave a lasting impression on party- goers.
With a string of successful releases and collaborations under his belt, LEONARD's name and fame have easily spread beyond his home country's borders. With his unique sound and undeniable talent, he is a highly sought-after DJ and a force to be reckoned with in the electronic music scene.

James Rodrigo is Waltervelt, the next hot young talent to land on the mighty Ellum Audio label.

Born in Joinville, Brazil, this 25-year-old has already been involved in the dance scene for a decade and has made his mark at the key clubs in South America. His well-formed sound is a smooth fusion of Italo disco, techno and electro that swells over you to make for immersive listening.

Adventurous opener ‘Lunar Operation’ is just that, a superb sonic trip built on rugged bass rumbles with old school cowbells and a real sense of cosmic drama from the synths and strings. It’s expansive, colourful and as cerebral as it is moving. 

The excellent ‘Magman’ is just as evocative but has a darker atmosphere with shooting lasers and tension in the bass riffs that keep you locked as you shoot through the sky.

This is another masterful EP on Maceo Plex’s agenda-setting Ellum Audio.
