I once heard throat singing on YouTube — and it touched my soul so deeply that I began to cry. So I decided to process this soul-touching acoustic moment in one of my own tracks. How We Were steps into an electronic hip hop landscape… humming vocals drifting like spirits behind the beat while your poetry slices between winter scars and summer lessons. The rhythm grinds forward… heavy… honest… carrying all the weight of someone who knows shame’s trap and fights through it anyway. When the scripture enters, the whole track pivots from survival to revelation… a moment where divine armour replaces fear. It’s raw… rhythmic… and built for listeners searching for grit wrapped in clarity.

How We Were

This song was created during a studio session with Barnim Schultze (Akasha Project). Together we recorded the basic take. Then it lay dormant for a while in the depths of my archives, only to resurface now, fittingly, in this windy season. I completed it with additional instruments, and the result is like a walk by the sea with the wind blowing through your hair. Melancholic and peaceful at the same time. The old can go and the new is washed up to us. The flow of life, in other words. Enjoy the wind.

The continued 7 kick experiment has reached a new milestone in taking the beloved ‘Blade Runner 2049’ film into hard trance by Cloud Stalkin.
Using the Voight-Kampff test dialogue I wanted to fuse this into my style of HARD TRANCE.  

It has a secret element in all of us subconsciously being connected to technology yet being disconnected to each other. A computer telling us how we feel.  Weird right?
