  This song began with a request to Josh made by Karin-Maria about contributing an original song as a collaboration for her new jazz album called Jazztastic. After fleshing out a song on the piano, Josh had to get his right-hand man Ken involved to add the drums, because of course he did. After they had worked it out, they sent it back to Karin-Maria, who added the sax solo. She had it professionally mixed and mastered, primarily because the album is now available to stream on all the major platforms. So, please give the whole thing a listen. It has a bunch of collaborators on it, many of whom you will probably recognize. We hope you enjoy this song as much as we enjoyed creating it. A side note, this is Josh's first jazz song that he's ever written

This song was completed around 2013 maybe.

The producer Eddie Logix was getting into a lot of cool things with hand drum sounds on his releases at the time. So this beat was me trying to emulate that. I likely started the beat with the hand drum sample and did the rest of the stuff around that.
