Junior St.Hilaire, better known as  DJ Jay-R, has been making productive strides in the entertainment industry and has established a track record that most DJ’s would envy. Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Jay-R was exposed to Music and Culture of various elements at a very young age. Relocating to sunny South Florida only increased his knowledge and desire to excel and embrace the music industry. Continuing his development at highly acclaimed Dillard Center of Performing Arts, he made it clear that music was his calling. Classically trained and Jazz inspired… His journey began!

In 2008, DJ Jay R took his talents to Orlando, FL where he quickly became a house known name in the industry amongst a very diverse and talented roster of hometown DJs. Jay R’s diverse knowledge of various genres of music to include: Hip-Hop, 80’s, Reggae, Rock, EDM, Latin, etc, has garnered him a reputation like none other and he is known best for keeping the dance floor rocking, all night long. Jay R is affluent and experienced in working with diverse crowds ranging from a college crowd to a more grown and mature audience. Jay R’s dedication to the grind has gotten him noticed by Florida’s top Artists and Record labels to include: We The Best, DJ Khaled, DJ Nasty, DJ Chino, Fat Joe, Mavado, T. Pain, and so many more! Additionally, he has earned the respect and support of his peers in the local and international DJ realm making him a staple in the industry.   

ADIDAS took heed of Jay R’s progress and recruited him on to the team to play during The 2012 NBA All-Star Weekend along with other local in store events. DJ Jay R has had the privilege and delight to perform for NBA greats such as Derrick Rose, Serge Ibaka and Lebron “King” James. Continuing on this trend, Jay R was hired on as an official Orlando Magic DJ to perform for their home games during the 2013-2014 regular season. His party-rocking credentials have earned him residencies across South, Central, and North Florida in all of the hottest club venues!

Now a nine year veteran in the music industry, DJ Jay R has his sights set on breaking into the International market. Thus far, Jay R has completed three European tours spanning five countries. Motivated by his achievements and loyalty to the roots of music, DJ Jay R shows no sign of slowing down. Jay R is focused and determined to continue his artistic evolution. This young DJ has yet to scratch the surface of his creative potential… The sky truly is the limit!
