I wrote this adventurous track as a demo for Musical Sampling's debut sample library, "Soaring Strings," which has won a spot in my template due to it's ease of use, solid sound, and the most fluid, agile legatos I've ever used. Programming and performing with this library is remarkably easy--there are a few spots in this track where the melody line remains almost untouched since my first pass at inputting it via keyboard and modwheel. In December 2015 one of my life dreams came true: During the first Hollywood Scoring Open Orchestra Session, I was able to record my music with the fabulous Local 47 studio musicians at the Warner Bros. Eastwood Scoring Stage in L.A.
This was one of the most intimidating and most exciting moments in my life. Luckily it was captured on this beautiful video. Please enjoy!

Benny Oschmann was born in 1987 in Kassel, Germany. He took professional trumpet and piano lessons from an early age and played in numerous orchestras and ensembles.

After high-school Benny studied music theory and composition at the Academy of Music Kassel and graduated with an A-grade.

In 2009 he joined Dynamedion as a composer and orchestrator.

In 2013 Benny won an Aggie Award in the category Best music for his soundtrack to The Raven – Legacy of a Master Thief.

He was part of the jury for the 2nd German Game Music Awards in 2014.

In 2015 he won the acclaimed German Game Developer Award in the category Best sound for his soundtrack for The Book of Unwritten Tales 2. In the same year his music was recorded with the Hollywood Studio Symphony in the world-famous Warner Bros. Eastwood Scoring Stage.
