We stumbled across Zoe Pea at a little basement party in Bristol a few months back. Zoe was playing all night long with Jacob Amos, and the two of them completely blew us away. 

Since that party we’ve been tuning in to all of Zoe’s Noods and Narr Radio shows, and it wasn’t long until we were pestering her to record us a mix for the series. 

Zoe described this recording as scatty and rough round the edges, sounds about right! It’s also the perfect warm up for Zoe’s set at MOT on the 27th for our Red Haze party. We’re already getting giddy about the idea of hearing Zoe’s records on a system again, make sure you don’t miss her warming up the sweatbox that is Red Haze at MOT on the 27th !

Artiste parisienne d’origine allemande et mauricienne, ERNA compose autour d’un groove hypnotique sublimé par un jeu de kicks entraînant. Celle-ci construit ses sets autour d’une rythmique galopante, étant la toile de fond de ses sets. Son style naturellement éclectique puise ses influences dans la musique électronique et dans les sonorités afro-diasporiques. Elle jongle entre bass music, breakbeat, techno, intégrant percussions issue de la moombahton, de la batida et du bouyon.
