Music is unrehearsed, meaning these songs are improvised on the spot. That's what they do. Two handful of tracks were recorded at Plushspace/Bureau de Son, Paris, in 2018. Composer by profession, musician by craft.

I currently am working with tuned percussion and voice to create rhythmic, resonant sound structures. I am using several Freenotes instruments - 2 marimba-like ones called Morpheus and a set of tubular bells called Moonlight Cyls, a set of 3 Zildjian cymbals, a pair of Paiste planetary gongs, a large set of small and medium Himalayan singing bowls, and more.

Multi award-winning Parisian pianist, composer and producer Benoit Delbecq figures among the prominent innovators of the international contemporary jazz scene who have build their own singular language in music. He has brought the soul of jazz to John Cage's prepared piano, when The New York Times depicts him as "a brilliant and unconventional French pianist" (Chinen). -- photo by Igor Juget.
