Bio: After years of playing Trance and Hard banging tunes like Hardstyle. Chris Rockwell  changed his roots to Minimal and Techno. Chris Rockwell got more and more intresting for Eventmanagers around Switzerland since he changed his style to Techno /Minimal. After a while he became also intresting for some International clubs such as in Italy,England,Germany,France. Meanwhile he has been playing national/international gigs around Europe.
Since ending of 2012 he managed to start producing his own tracks and release them on different big Minimal lables .In June 2013 his first Minimal Track "Pure Hate" appeared on Massive Duck records Hungary. Meanwhile his releases are on all different big labels such as Hungry Koala and Bosphorus Underground. (check label list) 
2015 he decided to slowly drop the Minimal tunes and change his style to funky Techno/Tech house beats. As he also had big Names remixing for him such as Mike Väth and Lutzenkirchen. Since 2016 he created his own Label Fabulous Music For sure we are gonna hear more of Chris Rockwell and his Label in the future and be able to listen to more of his upcoming hits.

C'est en 2009 que New Origin voit le jour de la rencontre de 9 musiciens passionnés de reggae, dès le début le groupe affiche une réelle envie en proposant de nombreux concerts et compositions originales. Le ton est donné : le groupe souhaite faire les choses à fond et partager un maximum avec son public.

A la faveur de cette énergie débordante le groupe sortira en automne 2010 son premier EP intitulé « Le ton va changer ». Un élan supplémentaire pour le groupe qui lui permettra de faire les premières parties de groupes tels que HK & les saltimbanks, Maxxo, Fundé, Bazil, Sundyata etc...

New Origin saura alors s'imposer comme une valeur sure du reggae Yvelinois et continuera d'afficher une volonté forte à se produire régulièrement et le plus possible en live, lieu où le groupe trouve ce qu'il lui faut pour avancer. Mais les différents chemins de vies de ses membres ne lui permettrons plus un tel rythme et des sacrifices ce font.

C'est pourquoi en 2014, né d'une envie forte de reprendre le chemin de la scène et de la production musicale, New Origin fait peau neuve en accueillant un nouveau chanteur ainsi qu'un nouveau bassiste et réduisant son nombre de membres à 5, ce qui permettra de recréer une dynamique de composition et de création, rouvrant au groupe les chemins des scènes de France !

Aujourd'hui le groupe New Origin s'apprête à sortir son second opus, témoin de ce nouveau souffle intitulé « A la recherche du réel » qui fera son apparition courant automne 2014
