Artist Bio – Ben

Ben began his DJ career in late 1999 and quickly established himself within the club scene of Cologne and Bonn. By 2001 he had become the resident DJ of the legendary Extravaganza parties, held on the iconic party boat MS Treibgut cruising the Rhine. His breakthrough came in 2003 when he won the Newcomer DJ Contest hosted by MDR-Sputnik Radio.

Shortly after, he was invited by renowned Rhineland DJ Chris Dis to join as resident of the celebrated Livingroom events at Bonn’s Rheingarten, gaining further recognition and international bookings across Croatia, Spain, Greece, and England.

In 2006, Ben co-founded the acclaimed Taboo parties with Roland van den Toorn, bringing influential artists such as Jimpster, Shur-I-Kan, Vincenzo, and Eddie Richards to the Cologne-Bonn scene for the first time. That same year he launched the label Taboo Recordings, releasing his debut track.

A highlight came in 2010 when Ben partnered with the world-renowned Freerange Recordings to host a label night at the Bonner Rheingarten.

To this day, Ben remains a respected figure in the electronic music scene. His DJ sets are celebrated for their deep, groovy sound, a passion that continues to define his artistic journey.

Du kennst das Problem... Du groovst Dich auf den Sound des Abends ein, den Du unbedingt hören willst. Dann kommst du im Club an und der Mainact spielt nur noch eine halbe Stunde.

Bei DURCH DIE NACHT kann dir dies nicht passieren, da der Gast-DJ nicht nur für ein kurzes Set vorbeischaut.

Bei uns spielen unsere Gäste ein Set um die 3-4 Stunden und unsere Residents knüpfen musikalisch an den Sound an.
