The current mix, directly exported from Studio One, of a little ditty I've been working on with Oceans Deep. This one is actually completely original to me. I asked Drew where to take a single part about the drums in this. I'm hoping to have a better idea of how the vocals should go after I fill in the remaining two/three minutes of this song. There's plenty of time left in the commercial length window to do some neat stuff with this.

There's some new drum and master processing going on! Specifically I discovered the detection filters in Ozone 5 Dynamics. I have a 25% tilt filter turned on, which I believe opens up the low end and controls things a bit more evenly, at least in a musical sense. I also now own SPL Transient Designer, and I'm making light use of it on the snare mics, snare buss, kick buss, and overheads buss. The piano samples on this mix are Native Instruments' Alicia's Keys library. Very warm sounds, and plays nice with tape plugins.
