The Funkee Wadd, born of an extraordinary man deemed Montgomery, and an angelic being by the name Of Mary-Helen, he has come to the western coast of British Columbia to bring one thing, and one thing only, Bass. With a focus on the funk and breaks, he is no stranger to elevating a dance floor with the likes of jungle, fist pumping electro, sexy jacking house, soulful bass music, the glitchiest of glitch hop and anything else that may cause a booty popping effect or head banging tendencies. The Funkee Wadd has had the privilege of sharing the stage with many acts such as The Funk Hunters, Stickybuds, Mat The Alien, JFB, Souls Of Mischief, Slynk, A Skillz, SkiiTour, Father Funk, WBBL, Featurecast, and many, many other talented individuals. For the past couple years, The Funkee Wadd headed to England to play the Ghetto Funk Shindig Weekender, as well as perform at many festivals around Alberta and BC, such as Centre Of Gravity, Electric Love Music Festival, Tall Tree Music Festival, Astral Harvest, Shambhala, Atmosphere, Cumberland Wild and many more. The Funkee Wadd and his golden(Steel) Harmonica are known for causing a dance floor to get all types of wiggly, and will always make sure you leave the floor weak in the knees and fiending for more. Award-winning Munich-based DJ and producer Dan Gerous is renowned far beyond Germany's borders for his high-energy and versatile sets and edits. His deep-rooted Hip Hop & Dancehall influences are evident in both his productions and DJ sets, which are driven by bass-heavy dance music. Seamlessly blending Baile, (Miami) Bass, Dancehall, Shatta, Afro, House, Amapiano, RnB, Jersey, and more, he crafts his vision of the ultimate club night.

With his ear always tuned to the pulse of the global club scene, Monsieur Dangereux has developed an precise sense for upcoming trends, staying one step ahead of most others. Just as remarkable is his ability to read the audience, skillfully balancing underground vibes and mass appeal in his sets. These talents earned him a Top 10 spot at the Red Bull 3Style World Championships in Tokyo.

When he’s not touring clubs worldwide as a solo artist, you’ll likely find Dan Gerous teaming up with his partner Notfx as the duo Crux Pistols, either in the studio or lighting up a festival stage. Beyond touring and producing, Dan was also a driving force behind Munich’s iconic Hip Hop club Crux from 2009 to 2020, leaving a lasting mark on the city’s nightlife.

Pioneers of Colorado’s electronic music explosion, Break Science soars ahead of the curve, with a decade-plus trendsetting the game. Steeped in filial traditions of East Coast hip hop, and futuristic soundwaves of the now, the Denver-based duo continues to scale creative mountains. Comprised of keyboardist/producer/jazz pianist Borahm Lee (Pretty Lights Live Band) and funk/hip-hop drummer extraordinaire Adam Deitch (Lettuce), Break Science traces roots to the embryonic seeds that flowered the electro-soul movement. The pair have consistently ascended the cutting edge of live dance music culture with an array of blistering live performances in any number of settings or configurations.

Borahm Lee’s masterful use of Ableton Live and prowess atop an assortment of analog synths, Fender Rhodes, and digital plug-ins propel Break Science’s towards the new frontier. Lee has worked with cultural icons like Kanye West and The Fugees, he is well versed in reggae/dub vibrations. Adam Deitch keeps it thorough with classic boom-bap, and inventive patterns that employ his rhythmic wizardry, be it electronic drum programming or a traditional trap-kit. Deitch has worked with hip-hop legends like Redman, Pharoahe Monch and members of the Wu-Tang Clan, he’s manned the drum seat for jazz luminaries like John Scofield (Uberjam). Both members of Break Science bring classic hip-hop, dub, drum n’ bass, dancehall, jazz, funk, and genre-defying elements to coalesce in modern electronic soundscapes.

The sum of these parts has evolved Break Science into an amalgam of styles authentic, and an artistic aesthetic wholly their own, heard in the highest of definition on their titanic 2018 full-length LP Grid of Souls. For ever-further explorations in sound, the duo will form like Voltron, combining with several members of Lettuce for the wildly-kinetic Break Science Live Band. Whether the essential dynamic duo or a full-fledged ensemble, they continue to break down the science & move the arena, one gridlocked soul at a time.

George Fotiadis is a multifaceted creative music producer under the alias Basement Freaks. Born in Greece, Fotiadis has established himself as a versatile artist with a rich portfolio spanning audio storytelling and funk-infused electronic music.

Under the Basement Freaks pseudonym, George Fotiadis has carved out a notable presence in the music world, particularly within the funk, soul, and breakbeat genres. He is recognized as a producer whose work pays homage to the golden age of funk, merging the 1970s and 1980s vibes with a modern twist. 

He also contributes to the music production community by releasing live-recorded sample packs through Black Octopus Sound, enhancing his influence among producers and DJs.

Fotiadis’s approach to music is marked by creativity and a refusal to adhere strictly to convention.
