This is absurd. This is like if Hillary shot someone then calls for banning of gun manufacturers instead of being held accountable for using the tool (gun). 

If it is such an obvious lie, then why suppress it?

It all comes down to who gets to decide what is valid info? They could feasibly argue that the world IS flat and ban a LOT of people and organizations. Bye bye NASA.
