I really love what you have done here, Ben!  You have a gift for opening yourself up and letting the spirit of music come out.  This is a fine example and is so refreshing.  Your delivery always manages to draw me in and make your improvised expressions seem sincere and important.

I like the talking bass counterpoint to vocals!

Yeah man! That's the way to do it. Let the words come from wherever they come from. I've been working on that a little more myself. The simplest things can end up being so good. You just got to go there. Great track man! Love the vocals.

I started singing and did not preplan. So in a sense these are unfiltered thoughts straight from the subconscious. I did edit afterwards, but the continuous stream that starts the bridge ("Didn't know...") is unaltered and surprised me. I haven't used "mama" before. I think it is inspired by Queen.
