This Full Moon, intention was to cherish our inner world, strengthen our connection with Great Spirit and revealing the Truth, finding Love by directing our awareness to infinity of inward space.

I was not prepared as usual for playing this set yet there was deep sense of trust and detachment of outcome.
I find myself more brave in my momentary selections and even little reckless. I felt liberated as an artist to express freely what is alive.

Art is healing
Art is transformation
Art is medicine.

Every journey I play is personal, and this is one of the most personal and meaningful journeys i have ever created.

I've played in Berlin a few times in the past, but this time I felt called to create a more personal journey.

When I was young, i became aware of the public discussion around the issue of playing Richard Wagner in Israel, because Wagner was a "fanatical anti-semite" and his music was used by the Nazi regime. 

I felt then and feel now that his music stands by its own merit. There's also a meaning in the fact that a Jewish-Israeli DJ is choosing to play Wagner in Berlin out of his own will.

I've included excerpts from Wings of Desire (Der Himmel über Berlin), the 1987 film by Win Wenders, which has inspired me deeply since i watched it in the late 80s and throughout my life. 

I've also included both Israeli and contemporary German musicians, along with African, Brazilian, and other world music artists.

Recorded Live for the "Harmonizing Humanity" Camp in the Burning Man Multi-Verse

Story Time:

in 2016, I took a greyhound to LA to barter for a Burning Man ticket, and then spent my last 100 dollars on a ride from there to Black Rock City. 

During my last night there, after the temple burn, I got called to go to the very left corner (a place I hadn’t yet explored) to see what was waiting for me. Nothing impressive. And yet something kept me there a little longer.

Suddenly, out of the corner of my eye - i recognized a glowing heart in the very distance... where I ended up pulling up to the beloved Robot Heart stage... tucked away in the corner of the playa, with no more then 30 or so other lucky wanderers who had discovered it with me.

And i danced there, all night; being carried deeper and deeper into my body, into the earth, into my soul as each hour passed in the cold, timeless desert - bringing the sun up. And overtime, the slow, minimalistic Deep House that was already so dear to me ~ began to resound some Hindu Mantras and Ethnic vocal samples...

It was ephemeral and foreign, yet familiar and right. And I knew I had struck gold. 

I wasn’t sure if I’d ever find anything like it outside of this space... but have since then been digging deep into this genre of tribal / ethnic / organic house...
And found home there.

4 years later, after spinning mostly this kind of music - i’m excited to share a little recording of some fresh favorites for my first set at Burning Man: playing for the Harmonizing Humanity camp on the Online Burner Multi-Verse.
