Born
Vernell Benton Thomas, the out-going Baton Rouge, Louisiana native beginnings of music started as a child singing in church. He later went on his first tour with the Grammy-Award nominated, gospel choir Shabach Praise Company, Incorporated, led by Minister Timothy Britten. One of his early musical
success consists of co-writing and arranging the theme song "My 20" for Fox5 TV (WDCA). OnlyBenton grew as a singer/songwriter providing vocal production, background singing and songwriting on various indie projects. OnlyBenton has served 10 years in the Army and obtained a Music Business degree from Full Sail University. He is focused and eager to create timeless music that will impact lives and simply make people feel something special!
