It’s been seven years since Benvenue released their last studio EP, Jean
Elizabeth. During that time, they were local to the LA rock scene, a fresh
ear to critics, and made their way to The Roxy’s AUSTIN ROX at SXSW in
2012, playing with Imagine Dragons, Cherry Bombs, and Doomtree.
Since then, the band – which claims Berkeley, CA as its birth place – has
taken time to continue to develop as artists and find a strong production
team who could elevate them to another level.

Their first single “Wake Up Now” co-produced with Jason Mater, is a
call to not only their fans, but to the world to be more cognizant about
how we take care of our planet and ourselves in turn. Driven by in-your-
face guitar chords, heavy-hitting bass lines and hip-hop infused drum
beats – all masterfully blended with commanding vocals delivering
poetic lyrics that make the listener think – the band’s first release is
definitely a command to be heard. The “Wake Up Now” single released
with a lyric video is intentional – fans not only rock to the music, but
also pay closer attention to the message.

Melodic alternative rock band BENVENUE is announcing the release of “Days To Years,” their latest track and video;  The Bay Area band is challenging the listener to look within themselves, much like their previous single “Wake Up Now” which was co-produced by Jason Mater (Disney Music Publishing) and has over 32,000 YouTube views. 

One thing we’ve realized is there is absolutely no substitution for lost time, especially when going through difficult experiences,” the band shares. “As we get older, days to years happens faster, but time also becomes way more meaningful. We try to embrace life’s beauty whether good or bad. It’s all a learning experience.”
 
“The inspiration for writing ‘Days to Years’ stemmed from déjà vu. The challenge is sometimes living in the moment and embracing it. When you finally realize the lesson was for yourself, it always seems to come years later and that’s when you truly become free. We chose this song to be our next single because we truly feel it’s completely relatable to any person. The listener should sink into the beginning guitar swells and embrace the song’s journey.”
