Mike O'Dowd was born in Melbourne, Australia. He moved overseas in his early 20s to travel and develop as a Singer-Songwriter.

Living between New York, Montreal and Berlin, he released his debut single ‘New Blue Moon' in 2017. 

Mike returned to Melbourne during the pandemic to record his debut album with Burke Reid (Courtney Barnett, Julia Jacklin, The Drones) Jesse Williams (Leah Senior, Girlatones) and Alex O’Gorman (Angie McMahon)
