My compositions are small stones. Pebbles, in fact. As you and I know, it's really nice to throw small stones into the calm surface of a pond at night. (A huge chunk like a symphony of Mahler's would be all too heavy to throw anywhere, especially at night-time). These compositions are not fine art or even an effort towards it. They are like diary writings that originate from the flickering of my mind - or the lack thereof. These pebbles are furniture music for airports and fishermen's huts and I've left plenty of space for coincidence and intuition while making and listening to them.
