1. Spotykasz złotą rybkę która pyta: jakbyś chciał zniszczyć świat i kiedy?
- Nie chciałbym zniszczyć świata. Ale gdyby złota rybka nalegała, to wczoraj, potopem kawy i papierosów.
2. Jaka grupa społeczna powinna rządzić nami?
- Poeci.
3. Co czujesz kiedy komponujesz a co czujesz kiedy grasz?
- Kiedy komponuję czuję to samo co gram: ekscytację i poszukiwanie możliwości ciekawego zagospodarowania ciszy. Czuję też zawsze folk, moim naturalnym środowiskiem jest gitara akustyczna traktowana jako instrument czysto rytmiczny. Prawie jak tamburyn.
4. Top Kwaśnego Orła? czyli Twoje największe artystyczne marzenie?
Większość moich artystycznych marzeń już się spełniła. W drodze może jeszcze ze 3 płyty, które powinny być ciekawe. Jednym z moich marzeń było nagranie płyty z Peterem Frohmaderem. Niestety Peter zmarł.
5. Jak się gra w Poznaniu?
- Za rzadko gram w Poznaniu, żeby się wypowiadać ale np jutro zagram koncert w piwnicy. Poznań jest jak Teksas Butthole Surfers. Minus upał i pustynie.

I started writing, playing, and recording pink elephant music (psychedelic rock) back in 1998, and formed my first band in 2002 with my friend Mateusz Nowicki (bass guitar, organ, voice). In 2004 I started my solo project Die Rote Erde which is still active. 2005-2009 I performed locally in Poznań as Adam Janicki - this project was focused on poetry, loner folk, art brut and outsider music and is currently being archived online. In 2008 I published my first poetry chapbook (A.J. Kaufmann - "Siva in Rags", Kendra Steiner Editions, USA). In 2009 I started working with the Texas painter and visual artist Justin Jackley (A.J. Kaufmann - "Broke Nuptial Minds", Virgogray Press, USA). In 2011 I released my debut studio album on Vinyl and CD (A.J. Kaufmann - "Second Hand Man", Mimics Cool, Poland). On the album I worked with the legendary Andre Mikola (Andrzej Mikołajczak) in his A.Mix Studio. In 2012 I founded the krautrock/space rock/experimental band Säure Adler along with Kacper Wojaczek (keyboards, vocals). The band's debut Vinyl was released on Ramble Records, Australia, in 2021. In 2014 I recorded and released my second album "Stoned Gypsy Wanderer" (A.J. Kaufmann, Kendra Steiner Editions, USA, CD-R). The album was re-released on Vinyl with Ramble Records, Australia in 2021. In 2017 I released the harsh noise album Adam Jan - "Escape From Hekate" (Gerpfast Record, Indonesia). In 2018 I joined Aumega Project from Germany - the leading netlabel for psychedelic sounds and landscapes. In 2019 I released the album A.J. Kaufmann - "Hippie" (TIBProd. Italy, Italy, CD), followed by 2020's "Jewels" on the same label. Also in 2019, I started publishing under my birth name (for example "Songs from Red Earth" - Nebular Silence, Argentina, 2019). In 2020 I released my solo album "Eimi", complimented by Maurizio Bianchi himself as a "masterpiece in the genre". In 2021 I joined The Swamp Records from the USA - the leading label for stoner/psychedelic/heavy underground sounds. In 2022 I started celebrating 20 years of my artistic activity with two new albums - "Aldebaran" (nostalgie de la boue, Côte d'Ivoire) and "Tribal Messengers" (Muteant Sounds, USA). New album coming April 2023 on Muteant Sounds, USA.
