Kies_  was born in 1989, impresses not only with his skills and aggressive song selection behind the turntables but also with his keen sense of peak-time techno.

Every one of his sets reflects his deep love for and connection to techno. His journey into DJing felt like a natural progression from his passion for music.

Kies_ about himself, DJing, and his sound:

"As a young adult, I was heavily influenced by the hip-hop and graffiti scenes. During this time, I began to explore beats and their structure. It wasn't long before I discovered electronic music—room-filling beats, high kicks, and dark sounds gave me strength and energy for everyday life. Music became my heart’s rhythm, filled with vocals, beats, and moments only music could offer.

After years of immersing myself in music, I realized that listening wasn't enough; I wanted to create and share it. That's when I knew I needed turntables!

After 1.5 years of practice in my living room, my debut in front of an audience came. In the summer of 2024, I played the closing act at the Drumcode Records party at Watergate Club, B2B with Bianka Banks.

A few months later, I returned to Watergate Club once again for a set on the beloved Waterfloor. My sound ranges from 132 to 138 bpm, driven by a strong, bass-heavy kick drum with elements reminiscent of hard techno styles. True to the genre, it’s characterized by a mechanical groove, precise 'whooshing' hi-hats, and a deep, rumbling bass."

Kies_ ist im Jahr 1989 geboren, beeindruckt nicht nur mit seinen Können und seiner aggressiven Songauswahl hinter den Turntables, sondern auch mit seinem ausgeprägtes Gefühl für die Richtung Peak-Time Techno.
Man merkt in jedem Set von ihm: er liebt & lebt Techno! Das er zum auflegen kam, war eine logische Konsequenz dessen.

Kies_ über sich, das Auflegen und seinen Sound:
„In der Jugend war ich stark von der Hip Hop und der Graffiti-Szene geprägt. In dieser Zeit fing ich an mich mit den Beats und dem Aufbau auseinander zu setzen. 
Es dauerte nicht lang bis ich die elektronische Musik für mich entdeckte. Raumfüllende Beats mit High-Kicks und düsteren Sound gaben mir für den Alltag viel Kraft und Energie. Das Herz wurde erfüllt von Musik, von Vocals, von Beats und Breakes – von Momenten die einem nur die Musik geben kann!
Nach mehreren Jahren intensiven Hörens der Musik, merkte ich, dass mir das Hören nicht genug war, ich wollte selbst ein Teil davon werden- also mussten Turntables her!
Nach 1,5 Jahren üben im heimischen Wohnzimmer, sollte mein Debüt vor Publikum nicht lange auf sich warten. Im Sommer 2024 spielte ich das Closing zur Drumcode-Records Party im Watergate Club im B2B mit Bianka Banks. 
Weniges Monate später spielte ich zur Closingphase des Watergate Clubs erneut das Closing auf dem geliebten Waterfloor. 
Meine Sound bewegt sich zwischen 132-138 bpm der sich auf eine starke, basslastige Kickdrum konzentriert, die harten Techno-Stilen ähnelt. Typisch für das Techno-Genre hat er einen mechanischen Groove mit präzisen, "rauschenden" Hi-Hats und einem tiefen, grollenden Bass.

Since 2007, Robert Kruse lived in Berlin.

BERAHT is now a new project with specifically deep and minimal Techno. 
He presents himself musically in a new guise. 
Its hybrid set-up consists of analogue turntables, digital laptop and NI D2, with this compilation brings its sound with its own character.
Under BERAHT, he will now incorporate his 15 years of experience in this project and will bring the crowd many beautiful moments in their heads.
