Entertainer hailing from Trinidad & Tobago


Hector Thomas, AKA Mr. Legz HT, was born on May 9th, 1991 in the tropical island of Grenada. His career in the music industry began in the year 2006 singing dancehall reggae and hip hop. In 2007 he decided to try a more local approach and transitioned to singing Soca music. That very same year he released his very first powerful rendition, “MORE RAGS”, which was when he decided to continue in the Soca scene. His success took great height in 2008 when he made history by being the youngest artist ever to make it to the Soca monarch finals, where he place 3rd and won performance of the year doing his biggest hit song, ‘High’, produced by Island Music Record, which he signed on to earlier that year.   

One of Grenada’s top music producers, Mr. Curtis Lambert, saw Mr. Legz HT’ high energy and drive, therefore; signed him on to his record label where he relesed his second greatest hit, ’The Rocket’, which earned him a spot in the Soca monarch finals 2009, having one of the best songs in the competition that year. 2011, Mr.Legz HT teamed up with soca artist and Producer ‘Springs’ and did a song called, “Come Down Dey” which was one of his first groovy soca rendition. From then he fell in love with groovy soca, and decided to focus more in that area. Two years after, Mr. Legz HT did a song called, “No Worries” With his Friend ‘Yung Image’. “No Worries” took Mr. Legz HT on a different level. It was rated as one of the biggest soca songs in the Caribbean and Internationally for 2013.   

As an artist, music producer songwriter, and dancer, with a passion for what he does, Mr. Legz HT was determined to obtain his own music studio, which he did in 2010 with the assistance of his parents and close relatives. His main purpose for that was to produce his own music and also work with other artists. He produces 95% of his music even up to this day. Mr. Legz HT also produced songs and has collaborated with some of Grenada's top soca artists like: Tall Pree, Inspector, Luni Spark & Electrify, Synnah, Short Pree, Terror Kid, and more.

 A few artist including Michael Jackson, Marshal Montano, Bunji Galin, Tall Pree, and Fay-Ann Lyons have been an major influence and inspiration to his musical career. Needless to say, it is the love and support from his family and fans that give him the motivation and drive to remain strong and continue his pursuit in the career that he is so passionate about.
