Forest On Stasys' latest release is influenced by the minimal, tribal sound of the nineties, on the deepest, most abstract level.
'In Search Of Balance' exhibits nature's strength. The field recordings create the environment; the deep synths provide dimension and the repetitive percussive rhythms energize the drum patterns. The long and reverberated pads are reminiscent of old tribal ceremonies, simulating a mantra that resonates with the listener. A brief story told in 4 musical chapters.

This track is one of my favourite soul discoveries of the last couple of years. Playing it on repeat eventually lead me to make this version of it - adapting it for club use in 2020!
