Mauritian-born, Paris-based Greg is a member of the emerging label Boukan Records and a resident at local party La Creole. In the summer he released his first EP, ‘Eau Coulée Smart City’, on the former Concrete (Paris) club founder’s label lavibe. With the title referring to his hometown in Mauritius, the EP is a detailed showcase of Greg’s varying influences, blending kuduro, shatta, jungle and more. On ‘Dembow Tronico’, he teams up with French producer and beatmaker King Doudou who has been the mastermind behind hits for PNL, J Balvin and Bad Gyal. Through his residency on Rinse France, GREG has invited the likes of Tirzah, Chippy Nonstop, Kampire, Ela Minus and more. Definitely one to watch within the French scene!

@abstraction-mathematique, the alias of French multi-media artist Jean Turner, drops a disorientating and elaborate trip on @syrinx_music that should delight open-minded dancefloors.

Polyrhythmic percussion taken from the Glasgow duo's debut solo LP on Hong Kong-based imprint 宀 or 'Mihn'.

The trees taunted the wind, swaying sarcastically as it did everything in its power to dismantle them. Their underbellies exposed, the leaves stood erect and looked like little tongues sticking out. This is a battle they'd fought many times before and today it came right on cue. This time they would lose a few troops but their roots would maintain solid so as to prove their endurance. Now, each branch is a trophy.

'Hypopompic' is taken from General Ludd's third release on a Hong Kong label. The eponymously titled album comes four years after their last solo release on Rub A Dub records and continues the duo's focus on razor-sharp sound design and textural complexity. With an otherworldly remix from Shanghai's Laughing Ears, the album leaves little time for respite with 9 hard-hitting tracks exploring the abstraction of rhythm and genre.

The track takes its rhythm from the rattle of two complex drum patterns which compete from either side of surface level: one sharper and more tangible and the other submerged in water, doused in reverb. Delivering themselves at full force in a competitive yet playful exchange, their dialogue makes for incredible complexity and dynamism and is an irresistible tease of what to expect of the full release early next month.

April the 24th meets Daniel Boon to join IAMT Family!
The skilled roofer, Daniel Boon, was born in Berlin, in the former western part of the city in 1979. After the turn he moved into the Berlin scene district of Friedrichshain, what was for him and his development very influential. His first attempts as a DJ he started in 1997. In 1998 he has his first public appearance in the Berlin club "Matrix", where he in the following regularly performed . In winter of 2000 Daniel Boon organized his first event - "Electrosex" in the glass house of the Arena Berlin, which subsequently took place in different locations. In winter of 2003 he and his partner Oliver Tatsch organized the first "OstfunkBerlin" – Party, in the "Maria". In january 2004 they launched the "Backstage" party series and celebrated the premiere at the legendary club "Tresor", in the following they organized this event in changing clubs. From autumn 2004 Daniel Boon and Oliver Tatsch launched the "IncognitoBerlin" party line, what was organized in the "Tresor" Berlin until its closure in spring of 2005. Further Daniel Boon is Resident DJ at the "OstfunkBerlin" Parties and he was also resident at the afterhour "BlueHour" in the "Sternradio". This year Daniel will be published his first record at the Ostfunk Rec. label, which was founded in the beginning of 2005. Including with a remix of the DJ Lützenkirchen, known for "3 Tage wach".

April the 24th meets brilliant Italian artist - M.I.T.A. to join CODEX Family with his Purpose EP!
Mattia Borriello, better known as M.I.T.A., born in ’90. Started his career at the age of 14. During years improved his skills in studio and decided to spend a couple of hours more working on his first tracks. Still young, he released an EP on Phobiq, neapolitan label born from techno master Sasha Carassi. From that point everything changed: in 2010 he made a remix for “Polychromatic” and, after a while, had the pleasure to have been remixed from worldwide known artists such as Audio Injection, Paul Mac and The Advent & Industryalizer just to name a few. 2014 is an awesome year: “Level Down” EP born in collaboration with techno guru The Advent, appeared on Mixmag magazine as top release of the month (December). Friendship with Cisco became stronger so they both decided to come back in studio together and the result was a 2-tracker ep released on Elevate. Pig&Dan didn’t miss the chance and asked M.I.T.A. to remix their track ‘Modular Baptism’ and after a few months released on Nicole Moudaber’s Mood Records ‘The God Particle’ EP, born in collaboration with Anna V.
2019 started in the best way possible assigning ‘Wide Angle’ EP to Coyu’s legendary label Suara and “Rotation Ep’ on Elevate.
In the end of the year, Mattia worked again with The Advent on a remix made for Audiomatiques’ track ‘Function’ which was released on Unrilis.
Works of M.I.T.A. didn’t pass unnoticed and his tracks were supported by Richie Hawtin, Paco Osuna, Slam, Pan Pot, Umek, Nicole Moudaber, Julian Jeweil, Amelie Lens, Jay Lumen, Kaiserdisco, Maya Jane Coles, Sam Paganini, Luigi Madonna, Regal, 2000 and One, Luca Agnelli, Andres Campo, Tim Xavier, Dj Emerson, Alan Fitzpatrick, Pig&Dan, Tomy DeClerque, Sian,Gary… and the list goes on :)
