Beriba

La première expérience de full party de Carlo van Vliet alias Beriba (soirée MTC au World Trade Center de Rotterdam) remonte à 1990. La house et surtout la techno l'ont saisi et ne l'ont jamais lâché. 

Il participe depuis de nombreuses années à des soirées nationales et internationales, avec une préférence pour la Techno. Les héros de l'époque comme Dimitri d'Amsterdam (Kneppers), Laurent Garnier et Derrick May développent un style de Techno plus profond "High Tech Soul" qui le séduit beaucoup.

L'intérêt pour la Techno grandit de plus en plus et il commence à collectionner des morceaux depuis 2000 et à jouer chez lui pour des initiés. En 2005, un bon ami lui a demandé de jouer un DJ set toute la nuit. 
On lui demandait également chaque année, le jour de la Reine, de jouer sur un bateau rempli de fêtards passionnés. L’amour pour les DJ sets s’est ensuite développé avec des morceaux house et classiques. 

En 2010, il a arrêté de faire cela parce qu'il ne pouvait pas suffisamment mettre sa préférence pour la Techno dans les DJ sets. Son public conscient n’était pas prêt pour cela.
À partir de ce moment-là, il a également commencé à produire de plus en plus, ce qui a donné naissance à des morceaux de techno underground que les DJ ont joués en 2016. À partir de 2018, il s'est davantage concentré sur la production de techno à Ableton en direct, ce qui a abouti à des sorties et à des sets de DJ techno dans un environnement underground. club à Amsterdam nommé Recycle Lounge Gallery Club à Amsterdam (RLGC) et The Acid Lounge.

En outre, il a lancé une émission de radio locale en 2012 dans laquelle il souhaite apporter davantage de soutien à la musique électronique underground, en s'inspirant du Studio Brussel et de la radio Deep Space de Kevin Saunderson.

We're lucky to be surrounded by so many talented mates. Recently, a friend shared their latest album with me, and I was absolutely floored. As I was planning a new mix, I found myself including 90% of their album tracks. I decided to speak to Mr X and asked if they'd be OK with me doing a mix album showcase, and happily, they agreed!

So here it is - a sneak peak. The album officially drops in May but we are keeping it under wraps for now. i hope you enjoy these tracks as much as I have. If Mr X doesn't catch fire after this then I'm hanging up my cans ;-).
