The Hawaiian-born born Soultronica producer takes a more experimental route with Primo, creating an infusion of hip-hop beats, instrumental breakdown and soundscape tracks, as well as vocal tracks with Veronika Redd and Heroic’s own Dooqu. Primo is a melancholic and deep album that brings together the best in electronica and future bass.

Born in Germany, raised in Raglan, New Zealand - may we introduce Pat Nathan, perhaps the new star on the Deep House sky?

We don´t know yet, but we fell in love a little bit owing his track „Different“. Pat Nathan contacted us last week via email and asked for our interest to these track as free download on soundcloud. First of all we thought - well - mmmhhhh - normally we don´t like to offer free downloads of passionated produced music. We only make an exception of something on Christmas as thank-you gift for the support of the past year. But the history of these song was so inspiring for us that we decided to do his favor. For your info: Raglan is situated 48 kilometer due the west of Hamilton.

A good alternative due to his passion surfing and the passion music were the TeKopua Domain, a Skatepark with BMX-road, swim opportunities for him. Also the Wainui reserve provided a playground and was situated near the famous Ngarunnui Beach. He had everything he needed as a teenager he confided to us.

In the meantime he lives in Germany again, as he confided to us. He enjoyed a nice boyhood to the full. That everything will be remembered it needs to take place again - at least it applies to Pat´s experiences. Thus he answered the question „why he want to provide the track as free download“ with one sentence: „In Germany the time and the pressure of time caught up with me.“ I had to get adjusted that the days need to be longer than 24 hours. thats the reason why my track „Different“ takes 5 minuts and 32 seconds - just simple time to listen to the the music or think or to be happy and so on. As the individual uses at the end is left to him, but I hope it can convince many to a positive feeling with 5 minutes and 32 seconds and hopefully they will end the day with a smile.

Many thanx to Pat for these 5 minutes high quality time. We hope you had as much fun as we had. Take the 5 minutes and 32 seconds time. It is worth it.

“The Words” is our first new song of 2016. We were messing around in the studio and came up with this hybrid, disco-folk track. It’s written from the perspective of a boyfriend or girlfriend who just needs to hear that they’re still wanted. We really liked that the lyric “Just say the words” kind of also sounds like “Je sais the words.” “Je sais” means “I know” in French.

Freedom Fry - The Words

On this one I tried something a bit slow and different from my usual stuff. When I started to look for a singer Alo came straight in my mind, so i sent her the instrumental and when she came back i was blown away by her "dreamy r'n'b" voice which fits the beat perfectly and creates a great slow and chill atmosphere for the track.
