Berling Berlin are inspired by the 1990s Berliner techno phenomenon and by industrial aesthetics discovered in their first trip to the German capital. The group was founded by singer/guitarist Juan in Paris in 2017 after having met drummer Hugo, lead guitarist Quentin, and bassist Max via an online ad.

Making music with emotions and memories from past times and driven by a thirst for strong sensations, the group creates an atmosphere with their intricate guitars, immersive synthesizers and bass lines, pulsating drums, and a penetrating baritone voice.

Their lyrics depict a restless universe that evokes uprooting, isolation, inner conflicts, obsession, lust, fear, faltering love, regret, friendship, and hope. A written mindset that bears dark cryptic verses which lay bare hidden passions and esoteric stories.

After releasing a few singles, an eponymous debut EP and a celebrated sophomore EP '2', the group embarks on recording an album coming out in early 2022.
