Milan's The Robinson make their debut on Monologues Records following truly sumptuous outings on the likes of Futureboogie Records (where they received a remix from the legend Ron Trent) and Rye Records. Pushing a sound that taps into the vein of classic deep US house, from Glenn Underground to Body & Soul, their sophisticated productions encompasses beautiful synth work and excellent attention to groove and rhythm.

'Mondo' is a melancholy stunner where soaring pads give a subtle edge of ecstasy, 'Electric City' is a chugging, synth-heavy atmospheric workout in the Joe Claussel vein, and 'Acid Square' is pure deepness with beautiful melodies and layers of organic percussion. Monologues mainstays Manakinz bring a heady Glasgow touch to their remix of 'Acid Square', building things to a tripped-out, spacey climax.

Following on from her acclaimed debut last year on Jansen Jardin, Yuki Suzuki and producer, Max Essa, return with another slab of Far East magic entitled ‘We Don’t Have Much Time’. Combining Yuki’s sultry vocal with a very muscular, bass heavy groove, the track comes across like some pitched down (way down!) early ‘90s NYC garage classic. Big, rolling drums push the track along while some glorious strings and piano make sure, as usual, Jansen Jardin have something for your mind, your body and your soul.

It was an outstanding collection of tracks - influenced by people, life and musical history and hits bulls eye aiming at the Plastic City philosophy. The “Rhode Stories”  verify his sense for high quality listening stuff: He rolls out his musical range while connecting all tracks like writing a book. For the his second  album “Prisoner With A Key”, Lukas Greenberg improves that concept from his first album": Spreading out his facilities in combining and creating sounds, he wrotes chapters for his new "book of sounds". The chronological order of the tracks is his story of the second step of his musical work on Plastic City. The result is a great combination of warm, bright and tight tracks which we inclined to call album art. To get the first impression of the current "Lukas Greenberg-Sound" you can just listen to the deep albumtrack "The Green".
