To create these confined atmospheres, the influences were clearly Max Richter, Jan Garbarek, Olafur Arnalds and Robert Fripp.
And I can't forget the kind message of encouragement I got while composing these pieces by the great pianist and composer Melaine Dalibert.

Lockdown

‘Going Home’ is a pure ballad. Correction: ‘Going Home’ seems like a pure ballad. But in fact the song reveals layers like infinitely opening drawers. Over the vibrant chords of an acoustic guitar, a voice begins to sing a melancholy melody at a cosmic distance that recalls The xx or London Grammar. This track evokes the mellow sadness of autumn. As you listen and relisten, you spin endlessly against the backdrop of a sharp, haunting arpeggiator that drives this song towards the softly shining stars … far away from yourself.

This is a piano solo piece inspired by situation of isolation due to coronavirus outbreak that is being taken globally. The melody of this piano song fluctuates between sweet and bitter, fear, calmness and uncertainty. It is tender but harmful at the same time.

Magic Bullit (Mick Magic), a collaboration with french electro-experimentalist M. Nomized, a soundtrack to a film that does not exist by r.beny, Tauon a.k.a. Olaf Gretzmacher a German producer creates a percussive and spheric soundscape, & ‘White Noise’, the single from Sferix, a grooving & meditative chill-out track. 

On the ladies' side Ulla, letting space silence simplicity & repetition be her guide, Noveller forming unexpected sonic routes, her songs are vivid and cinematic telling intricate tales with each tone & swell. Cheryl B Engelhardt taps into a variety of moods with a blend of flowing piano bell chimes & tasteful electronics, with Romanian Alira Mun ethereal vocals over strange hypnotic beats.

Sverre Knut Johansen kicks off the show with a wondrous adventure through musical visions and sonic dreamscapes.

I enjoy creating soundscapes and this reminds me of the midnight sun in iceland. no vsts used, all sounds were created using stock ableton plugins and instruments. Any samples used are self recorded and manipulated.
