Impact's Gunfinger Entertainment 2

DJ Gunsmith from Zürich, now living in the heart of Berne with his family, got hooked on Drum&Bass by his sister’s Ex who introduced him to the sounds of Dillinja, Pendulum and High Contrast in the early 00s. He rinsed their albums in his bedroom whilst being under age to go to the raves of the time. A few years later he attended his first „Lost in Drum and Space“ edition at one of the most legendary Swiss rave venues, the sadly missed Rohstofflager at Toni Areal in Zürich. The bass setup and sounds just blew his mind and to this day, that first rave is a treasured and cherished memory. At that time Gunsmith also met Joram (BIG UP YOUR CHEST SIR), a DJ and promoter for Rohstofflager whom he knew from before. Gunsmith started out helping out in promotion with flyering and got free entry to the often sold out raves in return, a perfect recipe! That led to diving more and more into the scene and getting to know more active DJs and ravers like Paradizer and Ryck. After attending raves regularly, Gunsmith and a few friends decided to become DJs themselves, so they started to buy vinyl and with a little help from Joram giving a first crash-course, they got to learn DJing. Gunsmith stuck to his passion and had his first gig at Flösslerplatz Aarau with further regular slots as a solo DJ or in back-to-backs with Paradizer and Joram. Although he later moved to Berne for work reasons, DJ Gunsmith stayed true to his passion and followed the music regularly with occasional, more intimate gigs at private parties or weddings. Last year he got a first comeback gig at „Drumandbass4real“ at Mokka in Thun thanks to fellow DJs Bakerman and Selectah that left the crowd begging for more! We are happy that DJ Gunsmith is ready to continue his Drum&Bass journey and are chuffed to feature his varied, up-for-it selection and great skills in our latest edition, enjoy!

Simple Souls bring the funk to drum & bass! In their music, they blend smooth grooves and massive basslines with live instruments, creating a vibey mixture nice to chill or dance to. Bern Bass Podcast 129 - Simple Souls (December 2025)

Ryck from Berne, Switzerland plays different styles of D&B Jungle since '97, co-hosted the monthly D&B radioshow "RaBass 95.6 FM" from 2005 to 2018, co-launched the monthly https://soundcloud.com/bern-bass-podcast -series of episodes in 2014 and co-promoted the Liquid Session D&B-Eventseries at Dachstock Reitschule Berne until its demise in 2024. After co-releasing tracks with Konfront.Audio and FD on Soul Deep and Sunandbass Recordings, he launched the now dormant label https://bernbassrecords.bandcamp.com in 2020 that so far had three Bandcamp-only releases featuring Swiss artists exclusively. 
After playing at major events and venues all over Switzerland such as Mute, Bierhübeli or Rohstofflager, with highlights such as going b2b with LTJ Bukem in Basel or being featured in a Swiss D&B documentary, today Ryck is a regular DJ at DARKSIDE Berne, HOTBOX Zürich and VIVID Basel.
