A Polish guy finds the love of his live in Ireland ... she is pretty and a real Irish one, of course! Unfortunately he has to leave her soon, because of his duties as a soldier. He has to return by command to his homeland. However, back in Poland he has lost all his happyness and every daily life situation mirrors him Cathrina - his true Irish love! He can't stop to remember her! Finally he takes the right decision: He resigns his military service as an officer - an existencial break of his previous life - and against all odds he returns to Ireland to marry his Cathrina! All this happened more than 100 years ago and: "Yes ... I'm damned proud on my beloved grandparents!"
