This remix of The Last Hero started off with some air drumming whilst I was listening to the original SID at work (this happens all the time when a tune inspires me). I got the basic groove down and thought: "I must get this tune remixed!" I don't play other instruments that well and please don't ask me to mix and master your next album, but I'm fortunate to have talented friends who dedicated their time to make this remix to what it is. It was a pleasure working with everyone and for me, this cooperation is a true testament to how wonderful the C64 scene is and also the friendships that come along with it.

Work in progress C64 double speed SID cover of a 2018 Amiga mod called 'My Lucky Number' by Virgill.

Only a test recording of part of the track, taken from a real 8580 SID equipped C64c passed through a Dolby amp.  *Lots* of work to be done on the remaining part of the tune and tinkering with the sounds / instruments.  The SID will be used in a future C64 production of some sorts...

My Lucky Number (Work in Progress - 8580 SID Test)

A tune I did for the winning oldskool demo at the "Demosplash 2018" Demoparty entitled "Apple II Megademo" (https://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=78718)

Be aware that this tune only uses 3 channels. Afterwards it was transfered to Apple II using the Vortex Tracker II.

The original mod file is 19kb "big".
