This is my cover of Journey's "Loving. Touching, Squeezing".  it was recorded on an iPad2 using the VocaLive app.  The backing track was downloaded from iTunes and is performed by "Midifine Systems". The harmonies and backing vocals were provided on the track. I performed the lead vocals using a Samson G11 microphone and an IKMultimedia iRig adaptor.

This is my first attempt at recording myself singing a three part harmony.  I've always enjoyed singing this song in the car and doing the different harmonies.  For this track I sang the lead harmony with a little bit of reverb and just a slight delay.  The second harmony was done with no filters and the third was done with a slight chorus effect to fill it out.  The backing track is a karaoke track I downloaded from iTunes.  I tried to keep the mix full, so that it would sound good on a mobile device speaker as well as headphones or larger speakers.  Hopefully you'll like what you hear.  As always I welcome constructive critiques and comments.  Thanks for listening! :)

Coldplay - Fix You, Cover.MP3

This is my cover of Joe Cocker's "You Are So Beautiful".  I don't try to re-create Mr. Cocker's sound, as it is so unique to him (and I don't have the cool "raspiness" he has).  I found a backing track with a nice, slow acoustic guitar and gave it my own spin.  I sing the harmony vocals as well.  The harmony track was way too loud in my first upload attempt, so I re-mixed it.  I hope this one sounds better. and I hope everyone enjoys it.
