Beyond The Struttosphere - IN DARK WE TRUST #192

A "concept set" passion project I premiered at 2022 Burning Man, a musical homage and love letter to the late great Vangelis (1943 - 2022). His masterpiece Blade Runner 1982 soundtrack to beats. Easter egg references to notable artists that have also passed away this year or in recent years (Prince, Bowie, Harold Budd, Olivia Newton John, George Michael and more).

This addition to the Sudbeats series was inspired by the beautiful scenery of Willow Island located near Gimli, Manitoba. The first hour of this mix aired on Amber Long's Rogue show on Frisky Radio. The adventure continues with this extended two hour journey.

MMZ - Sudbeats 17 (Willow Island)

What an honor to co-headline and open up the main/club room at FlashDC! — one of the best sonically dialed in rooms in Washington DC let alone the East Coast [and the lighting magic there!]—  …. along with the the down-to-earth positive vibes of its club staff and the warm collection of DC underground electronic music community. I wanted to make it a special hypnotic ambient start to the set with positive frequencies to set a heart chakra meets third eye chakra energy for the room and steadily build the energy in the room as it filled up from zero to a full room to hand off to the dynamic @elifmusique to further build and dazzle the room w her frequencies. Heavy inspiration in my set from one of my current favorite producers, Guy J and his Lost&Found vibe. The insertion of Galactic Light Language in the set is deliberate as the Earth unfolds into a higher state of consciousness as of April 2024. The mantra is a heart chakra seed mantra which opens up the heart space and is perfect for increasing connectedness to all, the thing that is needed the most these days. I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity made possible by the organizers @FlashDC and also @allvotescountDC <3

In 2016, when his debut release Lucid Dream got remixed by All Day I Dream regulars Gorje Hewek & Izhevski, the road was paved for a remarkable rise of the Stockholm-based producer and DJ.

Not one to seek the spotlight, he has already earned attention from DJs and listeners around the world within this short period of time with releases on some on the scenes most prestigious labels.

After a self released project with frequent collaborator Jones, Hosini was welcomed to the industry leading Anjunadeep with a three track EP titled ‘Syna’ in 2017. 

As constant supporters of Hosini’s, GHIZ’s label Shanti Radio Moscow was the logical destination for his next release. Releases on XYZ, Sag & Tre and most recently Laut & Luise followed. The latter, an emotional and more ambient oriented EP with goosebump guarantee, showcasing Hosini’s multifaceted talent.  

Through all his music endeavors, Hosini also has proven his academic excellence by completing two Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Statistics, as well as a Masters degree in Machine Learning. His sharp mind pervades his music with evidently meticulous attention to detail and skillfully delicate sounds and textures. Definitely one to keep both eyes on!
