Madd Rod's vision of music comes from his early-developed curiosity, which has made the artist explore multiple soundscapes while pursuing his North Star. For him, music is much more than an assembling of sounds: it is an enduring reminder of the experiences he has lived through it.

Rodrigo was born in Lisbon and raised in its outskirts, inevitably influenced by its intriguing melting pot. The cultural mess of the city had a profound impact on his music, blending a fresh technological sound design with traditional elements from ancient cultures.

In 2017, after releasing on Deeplomatic, he moved to the south of Germany, where he took a deeper dive into music production. There, he launched his record label, Inner Shah, and found a receptive crowd with whom he could field-test his tracks.

In 2019, Madd Rod achieved new milestones which motivated him to go further: a few international gigs, and the start of his three-summer residency at The Lounge Vale do Lobo — where he played extended sets, building from Downtempo to Techno.

After the busy summer, Madd Rod went on his first short tour, during which he started producing the first tracks of his album — the stops were Lisbon, Berlin, Tübingen, and Paris.

In 2020, Rodrigo took over the label management of VIAGE, where he released several EPs. His first album, "Dystopian Desert", was released on Inner Shah on July 31st of the same year.

In 2021 he maintained a prolific output, releasing 18 new original tracks and nine remixes and curating three compilations for Inner Shah. Highlights of the year include his chart-topper remix of Devran by SIS, the Shaman Call EP on Harabe, and "Rumors", Madd Rod's first EP on Discotexas.

In 2022, he moved to Berlin and music took him further with his first Hollywood synchronization as well as debuting performances in Greece and Brazil, followed by his first tour in India.

Phred is La dame Noir (Bar, Club, Label) co-founder, art director & DJ based in Marseille, South of France. Phred Noir has been producing tracks with Amevicious under “La dame Noir” name for different labels (Meant, Factor City, Blindetonation, LdN Rds ...). He is also been releasing records on “My Favorite Robot Rds” as Slow Porn alongside Remain from Meant Records. 

From Balearic Disco to Slow Techno via Dark Disco, from the seaside to the latest dance floor, Phred Noir likes to play between 100 & 120 BPM and feel even better right in the middle. From the slower BPM till his own 12 3bpm limit, this DJ likes to start the night and build up the tension to the end. 
Phred Noir has been DJing since 1995, and he started La dame Noir project in 2009. This LdN projects allowed him to witness how Nu-Disco evolved and how the french Techno scene came to slow down its own tempo, a fact that made those 2 music collide to give this new Dark Disco vibe. A sound represented today by labels like 
Les Disques De La Mort, Lumiere Noire, Correspondant, Meant, I’m A Cliché, Her Majesty’s Ship, Kill The DJ and most definitely La dame Noir Rds. 
Because of all this, he had the chance to play more then once alongside Mano Le Tough, Maceo Plex, Pachanga Boys, Chloé, Andrew Weatherall, Barnt, Ivan Smagghe, Munk, Pete Herbert, ALFOS, The Revenge, Mark E, Eddie C, Cosmo Vitelli, Simian Mobile Disco, Arnaud Rebotini, Michael Mayer, Tim Paris, Rayko, Dicky Trisco, Danton Eeprom, Curses, Amine Edge & Dance, Kavinsky and so many others. 
Phred has been booked those last summers in many festivals (Calvi On The Rocks, Alfresco, Marsatac, Les Plages Electroniques, Alfresco, Equation...), he’s been playing into the best french club like Paris-Paris, Social Club, Chez Moune, Le Baron, IBoat, Nuits Fauves, Wanderlust, Garage, and of course at his own La dame Noir dancing, and a few club in Asia Elevator (Shanghai), Basement (Hong Kong), Observatory (Ho Chi Minh), Savage (Hanoi), Dommune, Solfa, Module, Trump Room, Bonobo (Tokyo) & The Edge, Jamaica (Hiroshima). Sinchi is a non-profit multifaceted music platform. As a label, they featured artists such as Sascha Funke, Curses, Khidja, Roe Deers and Toulouse Low Trax, just to name a few over the past year. In 2020, they have a busy schedule of fantastic music coming up too (2 of which you’ll hear exclusively in this mix). 

As a DJ collective and promoter, they host regular events both in Amsterdam and beyond. Their last outing before this current crazy corona world, a takeover at Renate, Berlin. Then not to forget their curations via SoundCloud and the website via their mix series and daily premieres.

@RichardRossa 's Stockholm based label Tom Tom Disco has become synonymous with quality and a home for spaced out, tribal disco that has gained legions of fans across the globe. Whether hosting a stage at festivals like Fusion or their music playing at intimate underground venues, the labels sound acquires the most discerning of electronic music enthusiasts and has a life of its own.

Recently we collaborated with the label and a selection of the Tom Tom Disco family to support Ballroom Blitz and Palestinian Radio Alhara to raise money for those most affected by the explosion in Beirut. Over the course of the coming week we're delighted to share the sets during this radio event via the Sinchi Channel. Featured artists include Leonor, Tushen Raï & Warum, Cornelius Doctor, Bufi, Hanzo & Yaman, Tony Disco, Rigopolar and Lucare b2b with Aurum.
