This week we welcome the talented German artist Cary Crank to take care of episode #70.

Melodic techno at its finest in this session!

Bio:

“Music expresses what can not be said, and what it is impossible to keep silent about.” This quotation from the french writer Victor Hugo describes what has always driven Cary Crank: to find a language that is multi-layered enough to express that which moves him. 

Cary knew early on that music was his language. Growing up in Frankfurt, Germany, he witnessed the birth of techno live, and thoroughly immersed himself into its soundscape. An enthusiast of other genres as well, he played the guitar in rock bands, and produced electro pop for various projects. He built his own studio, which he transforms and reinvents time and time again. 

Since turning to Melodic Techno in 2018, he released several tracks and remixes on labels like Perspectives Digital, Parquet Recordings, Freegrant Music, Beatfreak Recordings, Monkey League, Flemcy Music, on his own label Sunexplosion and many more. His releases hit the Beatport Charts on a regular basis. The energy and analogue vibes in Cary's tracks are palpable, as he always travels to the core essence of a sound, and brings emotions to the dancefloor.

Heidenreich is an up-and-coming artist from East Frisia who currently lives in Berlin. After years of listening to techno and house music typical of Berlin, he discovered his passion for indie dance and began to be inspired by artists like Manfredas and Red Axes.

Heidenreich began his musical career in a band before focusing on producing music. Using Ableton, he creates his own unique sounds, characterised by deep and driving basses, atmospheric sounds and psychedelic guitar riffs and sounds. 

Heidenreich has since released his music on a variety of renowned labels, including Duro, Jane Musica, HEARec, Belly Dance Service, Heimlich, Bonkers, Wuza Rec., Sinchi, Nein Records and Espacio CIELO. He is known for his DJ sets in and around Berlin, where he takes the audience on a musical journey.

With his innovative and unique approach to music production, Heidenreich has quickly made a name for himself in the scene and will definitely be an artist to keep an eye on.
