Yu Kawabata is an industrial techno artist based in Japan.  

Born and raised in Nara, in a country where tradition and innovation generate a culture of elegance and rigour, but also extravagance and a great desire to look to the future! Her sound is pure industrial techno, a unique blend of hard sounds and fetish attitude with influences from black metal and classical music. Her DJ sets are energetic and impactful, a journey through hard rhythms and gothic atmospheres. She madly loves latex and used to perform as a DJ dressed in latex, she likes to explore the boundaries between 'performance' and 'DJ set'.
