Tokyo native Akiko Iwahara's musical journey began with Japanese string instrument Koto. With over three decades in the club scene, she transitioned from a rock band bassist to a DJ spinning vinyl in Tokyo bars. After a hiatus in 2016, she returned to the scene, blending vinyl and digital music production. Her tracks have hit Beatport's top 30 twice. Specializing in Hard Techno, House, and 80s new wave, Akiko's style is aggressive and dark. Catch her electrifying sets predominantly in Tokyo.
