Andrea Vurchio aka AV TEKNE (@vurkio) is a 48 years old dj/vinyl collector/ producer who lives in Italy. He started out as a dj in the early 90's during the Techno world-wide diffusion a took immediately interest in the harder and pounding techno vinyls sector. Many are the consoles he played at since then, setting his hearth and his gear mostly on "underground/illegal". He's also a co-founder member of TekneRec (IT-UK), where he produces techno tracks along with techno podcast/set, using either analog and digital equipment, and also Superdrive Records (IT)

"Introspective Parameters" [EP]

Starring broken rhythms, this work is composed of four cuts in which the artist has used a hybrid synthesis method between the analogue and the digital world, to give free rein to a less conventional introspective and dark style. Here, he will depart from the arrangement and bass drum patterns most commonly adopted by him, to try to evoke industrial, gloomy and deeper spaces. A lover of broken rhythms, he dares to produce in this key to experiment on that frontier.

Tried my own version of chopped n screwed on one of the creepy tracks from one of the scariest movies of all time in my opinion. Turned out pretty otherworldly, wanted to do more with it but felt it was too much drowning out the original tribal style drum beat that's on there. Anyway enjoy!
