47 revisits German artist OAKE’s seminal track “Paysage Dépaysé” in a special remix EP.

OAKE have established themselves as flagbearers for dark electronica in the years pursuant to their EP on Downwards in 2015, making cinematic dance music for imprints across the experimental-industrial axis—including a solo effort on 47 in 2019. After a series of standout early releases, the artists put out one of their canon-defining tracks, “Paysage Dépaysé,” as part of the Monad XXIV EP for Stroboscopic Artefacts. Now, it receives the remix treatment on 47029 with three dynamic and radically divergent approaches to OAKE’s atmospheric and deeply melancholic inaugural work, which will be pressed to vinyl for the first time.

The newly remastered original song is a post-industrial dirge that weaves OAKE singer Konstanze Bathseba Zippora’s otherworldly vocals over a noisy mothswarm of electronics, but label veteran Killawatt revs the first version’s subdued threnody up to a dance floor-friendly techstepper. On the B-Side, remixer Lemna uses a more restrained style, enshrouding the instrumentals under a martial sashay of tribal breakbeats, while 47 newcomer Quelza brings the collection to a ruminative close by bending and breaking Zippora’s virtuosic solo through a latticework of glitched-out synths and percussive stabs. Emanating from the Moroccan dry lands, Hedon is a project that seeks to channel and muster undiscovered frequencies inspired by desolate and noir tinged landscapes feeding off the north-african hypnotic rhythms and Moroccan unique aesthetics. 

The project strives to explore sonic territories through a conceptual lens it defines as (OOMO) — Object-Oriented Musical Ontology — a framework for composing music as a non-linear constellation of sonic objects, patterns, and cultural fragments.  Each track is less a song than a living structure — an evolving dialogue between chaos, memory and ancestry — unfolding like sonic ecosystems: chaotic, intuitive and deeply rooted in place and memory, seeking not to explain, but to evoke.

§ (section) is a reflection — a flashback to the raw, underground energy of the post-Covid rave era, before the scene became saturated with mainstream trends and commercial aesthetics. It’s a call to remember what the dancefloor used to feel like: intimate, intense, and unfiltered.
The EP The Last Wish draws inspiration from the video game narrative in which, at the very end, a portal sends you back to the beginning. That cyclical motion mirrors the artist’s final wish: to return to the roots — to the sweat-drenched warehouses, to the uncompromising sound, to the underground. This is not nostalgia for the sake of it — it’s a sonic rebellion. A time loop. A ritual. A last wish to rewind the scene.
Accompanying the three original § (section) tracks are remixes from a trio of underground disruptors: Tunnel, Violent, and 2+2=5. Each brings their own strain of industrial techno chaos — from Tunnel’s mechanical pulse and cavernous atmospheres to Violent’s scorched-earth distortion and breakneck pressure, to 2+2=5’s bleak, experimental deconstructions. These aren’t just remixes — they’re mutations. Warped reflections of the original vision, dragged deeper into the warehouse void. Together, they push the § (section) mythology further into the shadows, amplifying the raw intensity of the contemporary circuit.

HOUND is pleased to announce its fourth Various Artists compilation, featuring tracks from Weever, Endless Nothing, Mova, and Nero.

Endless Nothing is an EBM/techno project from Italy: he draws his inspiration from extreme metal, post-punk and industrial genres, combining dark aesthetics with 4/4 techno functionality and heavily distorted bass lines blended with sharp synths, creating ritualistic, cinematic sequences.
The first EP, "Fragments", was released on Detriti Records in 2021, followed by "Omnia Fert Aetas" out via Shishi Records in 2022.
