A charity VA compilation to support the on-going freedom protests in Iran featuring 16 diverse tracks from talented "flinta*femme" artists.

We are absolutely thrilled showcasing 16 unique and exceptional tracks at this charity compilation. From the haunting echoes of Post-Punk to the energetic EBM landscapes, from the cold dark resonance of Wave to the pulsating rhythms of industrial Techno beats and acid spaces. We celebrate the myriad shades that give music its true depth.
16 Tracks, 1 Cause: Creativity with Purpose
Each track is a testament to the diversity and creativity of the artists involved and a creative expression contributing to a greater cause.
Featuring an incredible line-up of artist including Lady Maru, Berlin Bunny, Substencia, Sch_tsch, Abby Knives, Tasime, Mila Chiral, Maze DK, Maedon, Willillah, Mouth Wound, Nnamel, Eve Schwarz, Inverno, Panternoise and Wvalaam Klous.

At the heart of this initiative is a collaboration with FEMENA, an organization founded by Sussan Tahmasebi, dedicated to supporting women human rights defenders (WHRDs) and feminist movements in the challenging socio-political landscape of the MENA and Asia regions.

This collaboration seeks to make a positive impact through the universal language of music, amplifying the voices of those facing restrictions in Iran. Given the challenges and restrictions on direct financial support in Iran, this partnership aims to provide much-needed aid via FEMENA.

In the spirit of unity and freedom:
No woman is free until all woman are free.
No human is free until all humans are free.

This compilation stands as a testament to artistic expression and a reminder that our freedom is intertwined.

In a world where every word holds consequences and every silence bears weight, the latter cannot be a privilege. As the world witnesses the horrors of war and its devastating impact on innocent lives, it's imperative to raise our voices against injustice wherever it occurs. It is our duty, especially being artists, to raise consciousness and awareness, challenge norms and narratives. 

We cannot allow ourselves to overlook the ongoing crisis in Palestine. This is not merely a matter of political stance; it's a test of our humanity. If we fail to speak out against the slaughter of innocent people and the genocide unfolding in Palestine, we fail on fundamental levels of compassion and justice. 

It's not about political affiliations; it's about standing on the righteous side and feeling the pulse of what's truly just. 

With the power of technology, we are constantly connected to the realities of conflict, yet to stay silence in the face of such atrocities is deadly. 

For that reason we brought 61 artists together to break this silence and stand in solidarity with Palestine, especially the innocent children. 

In the haunting echoes of silence, where cries for help are drowned by the thunder of war, our music becomes a beacon of hope, piercing through the darkness to remind the world of its humanity. 

Each beat, each note is a testament to resilience, a defiance against the oppressors, a symphony of solidarity resonating across borders. 

In the tapestry of chaos, our voices rise like a crescendo, demanding justice, demanding freedom and peace, demanding that the world listen and act. 

Techno, Noise, EBM, punk, and experimental music—genres rooted in the ethos of creating alternate societies and challenging terrestrial limitations—have always championed freedom of expression. Yet, the contemporary landscape feels tainted by commodification, censorship, and the silencing of marginalized voices. This betrayal of the essence cannot be tolerated. 

Our music is a rebellion, a revolution of sound, breaking chains of apathy and indifference, igniting flames of empathy and action.We are not just musicians; we are storytellers of the silenced, architects of dreams, weaving melodies of resistance and resilience. 

Solidarity must be a foundational principle within our (sub-)culture. True freedom can only be achieved when all are liberated. Music, as a universal language, transcends boundaries and reminds us that every life is sacred.

We're thrilled to announce our upcoming charity project, VA 002 compilation, dedicated to supporting Palestinian children relief and medical aid. This initiative brings together 61 unique tracks from a diverse range of artists. Each track serves as a powerful statement, amplifying the voices of the oppressed and advocating for a meaningful cause. 

Through the universal language of music, our compilation project aims to raise awareness and provide vital support to Palestinian children in need. By featuring such a broad spectrum of artists and musical styles, we hope to engage a wide audience and inspire action towards positive change.

Knife presenta el podcast 189 de OPUS OCCVLTIIS, es el apodo bajo el cual el compositor y productor polaco-canadiense Philip Przybyło produce e interpreta techno industrial ruidoso. Inspirándose en el metal, el post-punk y la música clásica contemporánea, el proyecto se caracteriza por texturas monótonas, paredes de ruido abrasivas y ritmos metálicos parecidos a máquinas. Opus Occvltiis también es cofundador y curador del sello experimental Anekumena Tapes, con sede en Ámsterdam, junto con su colega productor y valiente sonidista Cartopol. 
La presentación en vivo se realizó como parte de un evento que organizó con el sello Anekumena Tapes como parte de una muestra experimental para artistas del movimiento, curadores y músicos experimentales. El set es una combinación de algunas de sus pistas producidas a lo largo de muchos años con una configuración en vivo que consta de pedales de guitarra y una unidad de grabación digital. Como ocurre con la mayor parte de su música, el objetivo era crear una experiencia física y visceral que se comunicara con el oyente a través de frecuencias extremas y una majestuosa percusión ritual.

Knife presents the podcast 189 by OPUS OCCVLTIIS, is the moniker under which Polish-Canadian composer and producer Philip Przybyło makes and performs noisy industrial techno. Drawing inspiration from metal, post-punk and contemporary classical music, the project is characterised by droning textures, abrasive noise walls and machine-like metallic beats. Opus Occvltiis is also the co-founder and curator of experimental Amsterdam based label Anekumena Tapes with fellow producer and fearless soundboy Cartopol. 
The live performance was made as part of an event he organised with the label Anekumena Tapes as part of an experimental showcase for movement artists, curators and experimental musicians. The set is a combination of some of his produced tracks spanning many years with a live set-up consisting of guitar pedals and a digital recorder unit. As with most of his music, the aim was to create a visceral and physical experience that communicates with the listener through extreme frequencies and majestic ritualistic percussion.
