I'm a big fan of the old-school sound. I love it when I get results like this. I can say it's one of my favorite tracks of this year. A little acid, a pumped-up bass, some strings, shiny bells, stabs, and a vocal that transports you back in time.

𝑵𝒆𝒘 𝑬𝒑𝒊𝒔𝒐𝒅𝒆: This month showcasing the unseen talents of Iran’s capital Tehran. 

While Tehran and Seoul both have roads named after each other (dating back to a political agreement in the 70s), musically they are both cities facing an under appreciation of electronic music and its benefits from their governing cultures. Here, leading label and online record store @adaptor.records showcases 7 DJs from its roster, flying the flag for an Iran dance music culture that has huge potential with the right support. 

Artist: Nastaran Rezaee
Nastaran Rezaee was born in 1994. At the age of 15, she started playing the Dulcimer.
Nastaran graduated in textile design from Tehran University of Art and started her clothing brand called Mahi in 2016. Her interest in electronic music led her to seriously start learning it in 2018 with Nima Zoobin. She started working with basic equipment and synthesizer to make electronic music and recorded her first DJ set live in 2020. Her interest in funk and house music can be well understood from her Dj set.Nastaran was one of the female artists of united we stream global #35 tehran that performed in june 2020.
