As Hallie Flanagan once said “the power of radio is not that it speaks to millions, but that it speaks intimately and privately to each one of those millions.” And we love this medium as it gives us the power to travel without borders and host wonderful souls without limitations. 

“Beshknow Radio takeover on Soho Radio” is a one-week curated lineup of 13 programs freshly cooked by Beshknow residents and invited guests for Soho radio. 

The first day of the program starts with a collection of Iranian songs from early 70s to the Late 90s as a warmup and continues with eclectic live performances of local bands from Tehran. 

The following days of the week are dedicated to listeners with a diverse appetite in electronic music, experimental sounds and dance tunes.

Bardia Mehrzadeh - Beshknow takeover on Soho Radio

Levi Berishvili, better known as Levi Love Disco ,a young emerging selector from the the Mountain region of Racha, paving his way into the ever exciting Georgian music scene.
At the age of 21 he has had an impressive run with his DJing, spinning his records in clubs and festivals of high caliber; Club Der Visionare , Khidi , Mountain festival , and his 3 year long residency in 2018 with Ezo festival.
As his name suggests, his true passion is collecting and sharing disco records from all time periods. However like most of us, he enjoys playing a wide range of music. When playing in clubs and festivals he speaks of taking influence from house DJs such as Ron hardy and Jeremy Underground, fusing disco and house sounds to create the energy and excitement his sets deliver.

Pt. II of III: a continuation of GOHAR X GRAIL’s exploration of the influence of birdsong and migration (both human and avian) on the development of music in Iran, Ireland (Éirinn), Scotland, & the Caucasus. Featuring bird mimetic instrumental and electronic music, including experimental compositions from Aso Kohzadi and Jennifer Walshe; haunting pop tunes from Spell (a collaboration between Rose McDowall & Boyd Rice); socialist allegorical music from Iran; an innovative take on Lithuanian folk music from contemporary band Merope; two gorgeous traditional Irish reels; and more. Gohar x Grail - vol. 2

Niso Tozzi aka Ni_so is a producer, beatmaker,drummer, dj and radio speaker from Fano (Italy).Everlasting passionate of black music and culture, aswell as of jazz, afrobeat, bossa nova, ethio-jazz andmore.
Since 2019, he has released a handful of musicincluding 4 EPs, 2 singles and 1 remixes EP. Hisall-around approach to production combines the useof samplers (MPCs, SP-404) to that of synthesizersand keyboards, as well as of recorded instruments.He is as of 2019 pioneering member of No JokeRadio, an international network of undergroundmusicians and djs. In 2021 he embarks a venture asradio speaker, as host of Zero Waste, a show on webradio NEU Radio (IT).
As dj, he has aired on some of Europe's best web radios, including Radio Raheem (IT), KioskRadio (BE) and Dublab (DE).
